Well, I was not sure if posts of this nature were permitted.
Thanks for your support.
The site will remain clean, NOT plastered with ads, and will be there for all to use.
I posted some of my scripts to the HotScripts system and they got rejected and I got a generic reason for them being rejected which made no sense at all.
I have heard from many programmers that HotScripts rejects alot of them. Go figure.
Max
yea .. perhaps they are not prepare for a full-scale submission , meanwhile , you can advertise this website as a full-as you wish submission site for script ...
though it may take some time to fill that up :D

Max There are certain requirements that need to be met before scripts are added. It's a system that helps to weed out scripts that don't need to be here. If you don't like HotScripts then you don't need to come here. There is an appropriate forum for this and I will move it there.

You'll also have to compete with http://php.resourceindex.com :)

And why do my scripts not need to be here?
Please enlighten me?
Max
I didn't say your scripts didn't need to be here. I said it weeds out certain scripts (such as bogus scripts or malicious scripts) that don't need to be here. Let's keep this thread on topic. ;)

Ryan.. that sounds a little harsh doesn't it? There are many HS users that are long time followers that have issues with the "new" HS system yet still come... now if you said this to all of them I wonder how popular HS would become? I don't think Max was being or trying to be rude, and I found this answer totally unfriendly and uncalled for, especially coming from an administrator. :(
"HS Staff >> Lastly, we are very interested in our visitors and member's feedback...." really? Forum's are a great way to communicate, but the downside is you're going to get feedback that you may not agree with.. how you handle them is what sets you apart.
My intentions were not to be rude however I did interpret his as being such. My apologies if that came accross incorrectly. We do want feedback from our users and there is an appropriate forum for that. The site will remain clean, NOT plastered with ads, and will be there for all to use.

I have heard from many programmers that HotScripts rejects alot of them. Go figure. That seems to be an attack against HotScripts if you ask me, complaining that the site has ads and the fact that his scripts weren't accepted. While I do not know why his scripts weren't accepted if he wishes to start a site devoted to sharing PHP scripts then by all means I wish him luck with it. In fact, I even moved it to the appropriate forum for him.
Again, my intentions weren't to be rude and I apologize if it was conceived as such.

Why don't you put this phrase as welcome message of this board? I am sure you have much more visitors then.
You neglected to include the rest of the sentence in your quote. Seeing as how this thread is going way off-topic I'm going to close it. If you have a problem with this feel free to PM me.
