i have a large site(over 60 pages) and i have things that are on all pages and that can take hours to add. so i would like to know how good a content manager is.

you mean a Content Management System?

well, basically, you only need to do the layout of the system once, and you can add content to the site by using webbased forms. the content is then automagically added to your website.

if you have a site that updates regularly, a CMS is definately a useful tool.
