Hi! As you can tell I'm new to this site and to the web making process. That said please be patient with me as I will probably ask your help MANY times in MANY different areas. I received this link through dreamweaverwebmaster.com. It's a forum that I constantly use and they gave this site a thumb's up!
Looking forward to working with everyone and Thank You in advance. All help is greatly (and I mean greatly) appreciated.
I will try my best not to get flamed by accessing the wrong area but if I do I am a fast learner!
Sincerely,
Joanna

Welcome to the forums
We arent the type of community who will flame people, we try to focus more on helping people ;). This is a learning experience for all of us :)

Thank you for your sincere reply. Do you have any suggestions as to what area I can go to receive help on forums, as in I would like to know how to set one up on my website. It is a management website and it would be nice for people to have someplace they can go to discuss their workplace issues.

Hi it's me again-I just wrote you on the other forums page. Anyway, I went onto the Internet and it sent me to hotscripts.com so it is a good feeling that I am on the right track as I originally found this site through Dreamweaver forums. It sent me to an area titled PHP scripts and programs. It seems there are over 100 of them. Any one particuliar that you would recommend? Maybe it's because you've been so nice to reply but I trust your opinion.
Sincerely,
Joanna

PHP is not necessarily better on the bandwidth. It depends what you are printing out, and what type of scripts you are running.
If you mean by less server intense, it still, also depends on what scripts you are running. Poorly designed scripts will run slower, and scripts that have been designed properly will run faster.
With forum scripts, its up to you on what your requirements are. Each script usually has its own functions that are unique, and some dont contain the features you dont need.
