Hi everyone,
I am Jason, the managing director ofStrange Logic Limited (http://www.strangelogic.com/) a software development company that specialises in assisting companies as an extension to their IT Teams.
We have recently had a cash injection that has allowed us to work with people who have ideas but not the technical skill to take that idea to market, as a saleable application. Quite simply we work with "ideas people" and our programming teams code away turning that idea into software to sell.
Don't get me wrong here, we are not a charity. We aim to make a profit on our investment by owning a percentage of the software idea. We also don't take on all ideas under this funding scheme as we may decide the risk on a certain type of application is greater than we wish to take on.
We may (and have) regretted not taking on ideas in the past and we may not work with you on your idea but don't let that dishearten you. Ideally we aim for applications that are quick to develop allowing a speedy return on the programming investment. If you have the next Google, Yahoo or Ebay idea that could make us all Zillionairres we will probably say thanks, but no thanks and kick ourselves down the line but if you have an idea for a software project that has that special "sparkle" or is so way out there no one has thought of it before then get in touch.
The worst we can say is no and the best we can say is "Yup, this is a winner - we will develop this idea at zero cost!"
