I am hoping that some kind person can tell me how I can intercept an email using a perl script and read input values from it. I wish to develop a site for sailors to input data into a database. The problem is that yachtsmen at sea only have access to text only email via ssb radios.

well if you were making a PHP 1 i could help you, but im not too big on PERL so i never really coded with it b4 sorry :( if you consider php i might be able to help you.

Ive never worked with php but I guess it would be easy enough to read the email using php and save the data to a txt file where I could continue with perl.

Any help would be appreciated...
