Can anyone tell me in detail the logical and syntactical differences between Fortran, Pascal, Cobol, Assembly language, C and C++?

I've got the course CSCI 372 (Comparative Languages) and this is the first assignment and I only know C and C++ (and some basic Assembly language) among these six...!

Help yourself.. wikipedia offers a nice description for those languages and yahoo/google search will too. We are not here to do your homework :P
