I am looking for a script simular to Hot Scripts but not as complex. I want to run a resource site for webmasters and I am having a hard time finding a good free script that will allow users to add their own accounts. Along with that it would be nice if I coould put a little button by their listing. Nothing big but something small. It's just that most of the scripts I find are either Links scripts or Search engine scripts. I am looking for something just like Hot Scripts, because lets face it, these guys rock!
Any help would be grea :D

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?
I think sites like these ... well, you could either heavily modify a link directory script, or build something yourself from scratch. even though the first might sound attractive, I'd definately say building from scratch is the best way to do it, as you will then know the code and it will be easier to change it.

man I wish I had time to do that. I am not trying to run a full blown resource site. Just profide my users with a nice looking link directory that might have a few extra nice features.
check the Lounge, or was it the PHP forum? one of the two... someone mentioned a script there that might be useful to you...

hey,
Man try Pafiledb. Now its a downloads database system. There are many mods and you could even request they change it a certain ammount for you if you wish. www.phparena.net for the script and http://www.pahacks.com for the mods ;)
