I have a script that I made a few months ago for a client. It's written in ColdFusion and runs on an Access database.

It has a variety of features, but basically it provides a way of keeping track of customer information. Aside from that it allows one to select customers and print custom marketing material with a small Access based application that launches from the browser. So if you need to print a letter for all your customers in PA let's say, you select a few options, and your letters are printing in a matter of minutes.

So I'm wondering if I should release it on HotScripts, because I would need to invest some time to make it a self sustained release.

Anyone have any idea how much I could charge for something like this? Would it be smart to release it for free? Has anyone seen similar scripts in ColdFusion?

Any input would be helpful.

Thanks,

Nick

i will be happy to help you to beta-test your script.

Suggestion.

I think you should produce 2 scripts. One for personal and other site. The other for business and enterprise.

It is obvious that the enterprise you should charge it cheaply , so that it will be helpful to first time enterprise starter. I will say around $40.

As for the personal and website edition , I think you should be giving it free . Not only this will help you to promote your site , your site will also get alot of attention and you never know , 3 years from now , your site and script will be user everywhere.

May you achieve that goal.

Yeah, this script sounds good. A unique one too, but about time someone used CF to it's fullest.

Good luck with your project :)
