I wanted to know how to stream an audio or video file (mp3, flv, swf). I don't know about streaming, but is there something you can put on your server or something?????
I have a 1&1 server, but I don't know if that is a streaming server or not. I'd appreciate your input!

it is not necessary to install a component to do streaming, but they can improve performance. windows 2k3 comes with a streaming service. real player and a couple of other compainies sell products to do that. can i ask why just embeding a player in a page will not work?
