hi
i have win XP home installed on my computer, but it doesnt contain the component IIS, so what should i do to run IIS on win XP home??
plz help

Actually that is alot harder than it sounds Win XP home does not come with IIS. And what is even screwier than that is Microsoft even went out of their way to try and make sure home edition couldn't run it. There are some tricks/hacks that can be used to install/utilize IIS on a xp home edition OS. There is even a rumor around that you can run it (asp.net)on apache also but I have never seen someone do it. Just google your request and you will come across some stuff to try.

as far as asp.net on apache, i have not heard that but you can use chilisoft asp and get clasic asp to work on apache. as alabaster lynch said, google it....
