Description: I keep track of our script BBClone quite frequently since we have a dynamic banner on the site its been pretty easy to do. Out of interest I also see how many votes we get on a regular basis with it roughly appearing about 1 a day or something like that. Our rating seems to have been stuck on 4.67 for about the last 15 votes (or around that number) neither going up or down where in the past we were seeing daily changes. I don't believe the statistics could stay exactly the same for that number so I'm wondering if there is some sort of problem.

The rating of my script (http://www.hotscripts.com/Detailed/14024.html) has been steadily going down for a while now. It used to be 4.70, now it's 4.03. I've seen it go down without the total number of votes going up. I've also seen it go down after having somebody rate it as excellent; the next day the vote total was up one, and the rating was down.

Obviously there is something wrong here, but I've contacted Hotscripts twice (actually three times now), and have gotten no response. This is bad for my business, and I can't even get anyone to tell me why this is happening.

where your problems already solved? I'm interested to know 'cause I'm experiencing similar problems. rating is stuck and doesn't change but vote count does change. What's more script reviews don't seem to be accepted.

I had the average rating around 3,87, out of 35 votes.

Then the average dropped to 3.00, out of 36 votes

Now my average is 2.00 out of 36 votes !!!

How is that possible ???? It doesn’t make sense. Even if someone gave me a 1, the average should have dropped only with a few decimals, not a whole point !

I don’t like seeing that my average 2.00 out of 38 votes, when it was almost 4 out of of 35. It’s not right, and It is destroying my image.

Please make Hotscripts work corectly !!! cause everything is working bad now. The hits are not counring, the search is unprecise...

Your rating dropped because of a rounding error. I have had the system rebuild your Guest Rating and you should now see your listing back to normal. I apologize for any inconvenience.

funny how a script can have an average rating of 100.04 out of 5 :))))) :eek:

and it's not the only one...there are plenty on the first position of their category with an average over 5

Cross posting of the same information in multiple threads is not only not necessary, but also against forum rules if I remember correctly. One thread is more than sufficient to get our attention and alert us to the problem. I am in the process of removing all offending listings from Hotscripts now.
