Hey well me and some other people from this forum have decided there needs to be an irc channel. So I went and made one.

Server: irc.chatchannel.org
Channel: #hotscripts

Yeah, when I went in there was no one but an op there... But, I think I'll be in there today :)

Heres my opinion about this.

Hotscripts forum is means for users to chat. Yes mIRC can be faster since you might get lucky and someone acctually be online. Well, the forums you have a 99% chance of getting the response. mIRC is much lower.. even in the future with it being out longer.

mIRC is nice, but i never really liked it. Theres no point for a official IRC for hotscripts since the forums is basically a slower version

the irc channel isn't a replacement for the forums, it's an addon. if the irc channel is popular and becomes crowded it would be faster to get a reply. But if you don't, there's always the forum which surely you will get a reply.

i don't think IRC is a good idea as if many poeple are asking at one time then it is very difficult for people to answer. the forum is the best place to ask.
